Spotlight on Charity
Premier Curtain Studio: Spotlight on Charity
Social responsibility has always been a building block of our company from the start. We hold giving back in whatever ways we can close to our hearts and have made that a staple in our brand. That is why we would like to share with you an organization that we stand strongly behind, Gospel for Asia.
Together, we’re making a difference. Since our establishment, in cooperation with the GFA Foundation, and our dear friend Elizabeth, every piece of left over fabric is used to make fabric goods, like handbags, aprons and heating pads. All profits from these products go to the GFA Foundation, to help build wells where water is not accessible, and to provide disaster relief and education to those who need it most.
GFA is transforming communities through God’s love. They are committed to serving the “least of these” in Asia, often in places where no one else is serving, so they can experience the love of God for the first time. GFA supports national workers serving as the hands and feet of Christ in four main ways. Sponsoring national missionaries to minister to people’s needs, sponsoring children, investing in community development and helping families in need of care or during disasters.
More than 82,000 children from impoverished families are being given hope and a brighter future through GFA’s Bridge of Hope Program. This sponsorship program provides a way for children in India, Nepal and other parts of Asia to receive an education, medical checkups and more in Jesus’ name.
Many families in the communities they serve do not have the basic necessities needed for healthy living. We meet these needs by providing things like clean water, income producing farm animals, sewing machines and vocational training.
GFA-supported national workers serve victims of natural disasters and those who are often rejected by society, like widows and leprosy patients. Their Compassion Services teams love the Lord and serve the needy from that same heart.
